Frequently asked questions

Do you accept loaded containers?

No. We are an empty-only yard. We do not handle loaded freight under any circumstance.

What carriers do you work with?

We have direct EDI integration with Maersk, Arkas, and ZIM, and accept dispatched moves on behalf of additional shipping lines on a case-by-case basis.

How fast is M&R turnaround?

On the premise that we have auto-approval, repairs can be completed within a week, contingent on the size of the damages. If a unit needs an estimate and a deeper inspection process, repair times will vary. We always perform a quality service. That can never be rushed.

Can I drop a box outside Yard Hours?

No. The gate is closed evenings and weekends. Equipment dropped outside Yard Hours is not received and the line is not notified.

How do I get a rate quote?

Use the rate request form on the visit page, or email customerservice@wwdnj.com. We respond within one business day.

Do you do reefer PTI?

Yes. Full PTI with genset attach / detach, refrigerant top-up, temperature run-test, and PTI report transmitted via EDI.

What is your acreage?

35 acres, all dedicated to empty containers. No loaded freight is handled on the yard.

Are you ILA?

Yes. 100% ILA-operated. No subcontracted labor.

What is your EDI specification?

We send and receive Standard EDI messages, including INFO, RELEASE, GATES, ESTIMATED, and REP-AVL, and we conform to each line’s commercial specification.
